Cristina Gomez

I am a registered physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience supporting older adults and individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or neurological conditions. My work is focused on helping people stay safe, independent, and confident in their own homes, where daily life truly happens.

My main areas of care include fall prevention, mobility, and everyday function. I follow a client‑centered approach, meaning your goals guide every part of your treatment. I also work closely with families and caregivers, giving them practical tools and guidance to support safe movement at home.

As an authorized provider for the Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) program, I can assess, recommend, and approve mobility equipment such as walkers and other supportive devices. Having the right equipment makes daily tasks easier, reduces fall risks, and helps you stay independent.

I offer services in both English and Spanish, making communication comfortable for a wide range of clients and families.

Outside of work, I value spending time with my family. Keeping balance in my own life helps me bring patience, compassion, and energy to the people I care for.

Bertha Gonzalez

I am a licensed physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, bringing over 20 years of experience working with older adults and individuals with mobility or neurological challenges. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping people stay active, safe, and independent — whether they are aging at home, recovering from an operation or injury, or living with conditions that affect balance, movement, or coordination.

My work includes fall‑prevention strategies, mobility training, and teaching clients and caregivers practical ways to stay safe in their daily routines. I am also trained in the Balance Matters approach, which I use as an extra tool to help clients feel steadier, more aware of their movements, and more confident during everyday activities. I stay current in my field by attending workshops and conferences related to aging, rehabilitation, and neurological health.

I provide care in both English and Spanish, allowing me to connect with families from different cultural backgrounds and communicate in a way that feels comfortable and respectful.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying involved in my community. These experiences help me bring empathy, patience, and understanding to every person I support.

Lina Zuluaga

I am a registered physiotherapist with the Alberta College of Physiotherapists, bringing more than 20 years of experience in acute care physiotherapy. Throughout my career, I have supported adults recovering from hip fractures, traumatic injuries, and planned orthopedic surgeries, helping them rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence during demanding stages of recovery.

My work includes helping older adults stay active as they age, guiding people as they regain movement after medical procedures, and assisting individuals living with conditions that affect balance, coordination, or overall physical function. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education focused on aging, rehabilitation, and neurological health.

I am multilingual, offering services in Spanish, English, and basic French, which allows me to connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and adjust communication to what feels most comfortable for them.

Outside of my clinical role, I enjoy volunteering in my community and spending meaningful time with my family. These experiences help me bring understanding.
